Kumander 2.0, codename Adobo, marks an important milestone in the project's history. This version migrates the system base from Debian 11 to Debian 12, incorporating the 6.1 LTS kernel and XFCE 4.18 with a completely new visual theme. The most relevant changes include: new Kumander Adobo GTK theme with light and dark variants, migration to PipeWire as the default audio server, native Flatpak support from the software center, installer improvements with automatic hardware detection, and a driver manager that facilitates the installation of proprietary NVIDIA drivers. All pre-installed applications were also updated to their latest versions available in the Debian 12 repositories. We thank the more than 200 testers who participated in the beta.
